Not any paladins or Templars left in the elizabethan period. Knights of Malta are still around though.

I thought it was common to discuss character ideas with the admin before hand, I always do, to make sure my character sheet is okay with the admins, especially if it a character operating outside the games normal scope. It's not about trust, it's about you not properly knowing the game limits the admins have set outside the given spheres.

I did discuss them with the admin earlier in the thread when I mentioned the idea of an ex-corsair turned privateer, though that was before I knew that the Brits having a firebreather was problematic. As I'm not familiar with the setting except what I've read in the wiki, I thought a public character concept discussion would be more useful than a pm one. That's also why I asked if things would be ok rather than assuming they were. The assumption that I just wanted a non-British dragon because of some "sports car syndrome" rather than because it fit my character concept was the part that irked me. The matter of trust was the apparently false belief I had that I've earned enough credit as a RPer to get the benefit of the doubt that there is some sound reasoning behind the proposals I make, rather than having my motives questioned. I was never the type of player to beg for VS, so I'm not sure where the belief I was doing that here arose from. I'll take it to PM to figure out my options.

Zack, I apologise for misjudging you. As I said yesterday, I understood your reasoning much better once you'd explained it.
